What is Tenacious Wellness Coaching?

Tenacious Wellness Coaching was created to support those living with chronic illness and pain. Unlike general health coaching, which often focuses broadly on nutrition, fitness, or lifestyle change, my coaching is centered on the unique realities of navigating daily life with ongoing health challenges.
At its heart, Tenacious Wellness is about cultivating gentle determination. Tenacity here does not mean pushing harder or striving beyond your limits. It means taking small, accessible steps with consistency and compassion, even when energy is low or symptoms flare. Together, we focus on building five foundations that make it possible to thrive: managing stress, getting quality sleep, processing difficult emotions, pacing activity, and practicing effective self-care.
What you can expect in our work:
-
Support from someone who understands firsthand the challenges of chronic illness and pain
-
Guidance in mastering the five foundations for thriving
-
A compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore what is working and where you feel stuck
-
Action steps you can apply right away to make daily life more sustainable and fulfilling
-
Flexible, online sessions tailored to your needs and goals
Tenacious Wellness Coaching is not about perfection or pushing through at all costs. It is about walking beside you with empathy, encouragement, and practical tools so you can create a life that feels more balanced, sustainable, and fulfilling, one step at a time.
All About Me
My name is Meagan Harold. I am a Certified Integrative Mental Health Coach through the Nickerson Institute and a Registered Health Coach with the Health Coach Alliance. I am also the founder of Tenacious Wellness Coaching.
My commitment to mental health began early, forged while I was managing anxiety, depression, and OCD with little professional help. When I finally received effective care, I made a promise to myself that I would one day offer the same kind of lifeline to others. That commitment deepened at 24, when I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I know firsthand the realities of chronic illness and pain: the maze of the medical system, the grief of a body that feels different, the loneliness of being misunderstood, and the shame that can follow lost abilities.
Through this journey, I’ve learned that thriving with chronic illness requires building five essential foundations: managing stress, getting quality sleep, processing grief and difficult emotions, pacing activity, and practicing effective self-care. The irony is that these skills are often the hardest to build while living with chronic illness and pain. Yet inside those harsh realities, I discovered space for a rich and meaningful life. By protecting my self-care, steadying my nervous system, setting firm boundaries, and cultivating grace and gratitude, I found my way back to joy.
When I first received my diagnosis, I often wished I had a trusted partner to help guide me. Today, I offer that support to others, walking alongside you with compassion, practical tools, and the tenacity needed to create a more sustainable, purposeful, and fulfilling life.
