Tenacious Wellness Coaching provides online chronic illness coaching and caregiver support for adults navigating ongoing health challenges. Unlike general health coaching, which often focuses broadly on nutrition, fitness, or lifestyle change, this work is centered on the day-to-day reality of living with chronic illness, chronic pain, or supporting someone who is.

Whether you are managing your own symptoms or caring for a loved one, the experience can be complex. Energy is limited. Emotions run deep. Responsibilities can feel constant. This space is designed to support you in a way that is practical, compassionate, and sustainable.

At its heart, Tenacious Wellness is about cultivating gentle determination. Tenacity here does not mean pushing harder or striving beyond your limits. It means taking small, accessible steps with consistency and compassion, even when symptoms flare or caregiving demands feel heavy. Together, we focus on five core areas that support daily life with chronic illness: stress management, quality sleep, emotional processing, activity pacing, and effective self-care.

All About Me

My name is Meagan Harold, founder of Tenacious Wellness Coaching. I am a Certified Integrative Mental Health Coach through the Nickerson Institute. I provide online chronic illness coaching and caregiver support for adults navigating the challenges of long-term health conditions.

My commitment to mental health began early, shaped by my own experience managing anxiety, depression, and OCD with limited support. When I finally received effective care, I made a promise to offer that same kind of steady, compassionate support to others. That commitment deepened at 24 when I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

​

I understand firsthand the realities of living with chronic illness and chronic pain, as well as the emotional weight that can come with caregiving. The complexity of the medical system, the grief of a changing body, the isolation of being misunderstood, and the pressure to keep going can take a real toll. These experiences shape the way I support my clients, with both clinical understanding and lived experience.

Through this journey, I have learned that thriving with chronic illness requires building five essential foundations: stress management, quality sleep, emotional processing, activity pacing, and effective self-care. These are often the hardest skills to build when energy is limited, yet they are the ones that create the most meaningful change. With steady support, it becomes possible to feel more grounded, more capable, and more connected to your life.

When I first received my diagnosis, I often wished I had a trusted partner to help guide me. Today, I offer that support through chronic illness coaching and caregiver support, walking alongside you with compassion, practical tools, and gentle determination so you can create a life that feels more sustainable, meaningful, and fulfilling.

Do you accept clients outside of Washington State?
Yes. Tenacious Wellness Coaching serves clients throughout the United States and Canada through secure virtual platforms. While my practice is based in Washington, coaching is not limited by location.

Is coaching covered by insurance?
At this time, Tenacious Wellness Coaching is a private pay service and not covered by insurance. However, some employers offer wellness stipends to their employees that may include wellness coaching services.

​

How do I know if coaching is right for me?
Coaching is a great fit if you’re ready to make meaningful changes in how you care for yourself, even if you don’t have all the answers yet. If you want practical guidance, accountability, and encouragement to help you move toward more balance and purpose, coaching may be the right next step.
