FAQs

What training and certifications do you have as a coach?

I am a Certified Mental Health Coach with specialized training in stress management, emotional resilience, pacing strategies, and lifestyle support for adults living with chronic illness. I’ve completed ongoing professional development in trauma-informed support, mind-body approaches, and workplace wellbeing to ensure clients receive grounded, practical guidance.

How does your lived experience with chronic illness shape your coaching?

My own journey with autoimmune illness has given me firsthand understanding of the physical, emotional, and logistical challenges my clients face. I’ve learned how to pace, rest, self-advocate, rebuild routines, and navigate both life and work with compassion and flexibility. I bring that real-world experience into every session. Clients often share that this sense of being understood makes coaching feel safer and more supportive.

How is coaching different from therapy or medical care?

Coaching is not medical treatment or psychotherapy. Instead, it focuses on the practical, mental, and lifestyle skills that help you move through daily life with more steadiness, things like stress regulation, pacing, boundaries, resilience, and supportive routines. Many clients work with me alongside a physician or therapist for comprehensive care. My role is to help bridge the gap between appointments and give you tools you can use every day.
